How To Install Google Chrome Extensions In Opera Browser (and Vice Versa)

Add-ons and extensions are one of the most popular features a web-browser can have. The only drawback being that your choice of browser limits what extra features and functionality are available to you.

Safari’s extensions don’t work in Firefox; Firefox add-on’s don’t work in Internet Explorer; and Internet Explorer… does it even have any of its own?!

With the popular web-browser Opera switching to the same web rendering engine as Google Chrome, namely Blink, the uneven playing field is levelling out: Chrome extensions can now be installed on Opera, and Opera’s new add-ons work in Chrome.

Developers and users alike will benefit from this, and whilst not all features of Chrome work in Opera at present (or vice versa) most, if not all, Chrome Extensions should work without a hitch.

So let’s see how you go about it.

Flash the Google Edition ROM on your Rooted Samsung Galaxy S4

Yesterday, I posted Google edition ROM (Android 4.3 Jelly Bean) for rooted HTC One. Today, we have Google edition ROM for your rooted Samsung Galaxy S4!

The ROM is a fresh build, dated June 26th and requires Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) and Custom Recovery.

You have to follow the instructions to install this. Proceed with caution though as this may void your warranty and there’s always the risk of doing something wrong for those who are newbies. With that in mind, the instructions and download links are

Flash the Google Edition ROM on your Rooted HTC One

As expected, the big day has come! (Well, it was a couple of days ago) You can now get your hands on the stock Android-powered HTC One or Samsung Galaxy S4 directly from Google Play. While the developers in the community are absolutely over the top for having an option to be able to enjoy a native Google experience on a top end hardware, the general people certainly do not seem to be interested and would much rather pick the themed device for a little more money.

However, in what is one of the quickest developments, it is now possible to convert your skinned HTC One to the Google Edition of the HTC One where literally every single thing is working perfectly as on the stock devices. The developers on XDA found the system dump of the Google Edition of HTC One  and have gone on to compile that into a ROM that is flashable. The ROM is extremely stable and smooth.

If you have had an experience of flashing ROMs on devices before, this is pretty easy to carry out. You need to be on a rooted HTC One to perform the procedure and all the links as well as instructions can be found at

How to Install Adobe Flash Player on Android

1) Head into your Android device's Settings > Security and make sure to check the Unknown Sources box. This will allow us to install the Adobe Flash Player app from a source other than the Play Store.

2) Hit this link from your Android device or your computer.

3) Hit the first link (Archived Flash Player versions for developers) on the page. Scroll down until you see Flash Player for Android 4.0 archives or Flash Player for Android 2.x and 3.x archives. According to your Android version, tap the first version you see to begin the download, which is the version that Adobe still updates regularly.

4) After the download is finished, simply tap the notification and you can begin installing the app. Keep in mind that you can't use the stock browser or Google Chrome with Adobe Flash Player, as they don't support it. You're going to need to use something like the Boat browser or Firefox.

5) If you have Boat browser installed, inside the browser head into Settings > Page Content settings, and make sure the flash plugins are enabled. Voila, done! Head to this link to make sure it works.

How to Start Page Numbering at a Specific Page in Microsoft Word 2007/2010

1) Open Microsoft Word or your word document.
2) Click at the top of the page where you want to start page numbering. [in this case, I insert at page 2]

3) Go to Page Layout tab, click Breaks>Continuous.

4) Go to Insert tab, click Page Number, choose whatever style you want.

5) On the Header and Footer Tools Design tab, go to the page that inserted continuous break, highlight the page number and deselect Link to Previous.

6) Scroll up one page and delete the page number from the header or footer. You should now have no page numbers at the beginning of your document, only pages from where you inserted the continuous break to the end of the document will have page numbers.

7) Then, go to Insert tab, click Page Number>Format Page Numbers...

8) Select Start at, enter 1 in the textbox.

9) Double click on body of document to exit Header and Footer. Done and you will get this!!
