Temple Run 2 - Holiday Update

The update brings several interesting features to the game such as a Santa character to run around in the Temple Run 2 environment. Besides that, all other characters get Santa hats, and there are plenty of other Christmas-related artifacts that can be unlocked.

However, to unlock Santa, a certain number of crystal may be needed, as seen in the following screenshot:

Google Play Games APK for Android

Google Play Games was initially announced at the Google I/O 2013 this year and now, Google officially rolled out the Android standalone app for phones and tablets. Play Games is now all available with leaderboards, achievements, real-time multilayer etc. This is Google’s answer to Game Center on iOS. You can now download Google Play Games for Android from the Google Play Store. However, it appears to be region locked for a few places and not everyone has been able to download it. We have the Google Play Games APK for download as well for those who can’t download from the Google Play Store, due to region specific issues.

Tiny Thief coming to Google Play on July 11th, first Rovio Stars game for Android

Tiny Thief is a puzzle game, but unlike Rovio’s usual offerings – it isn't a physics-based title. Instead, the game is more of a medieval themed stealth-puzzle game that has candy stores, bears in cages, pirates, dragons and even some sort of steampunk robot-like device.

Tiny Thief also features over 30 different stages with more than 50 different characters to interact with. You'll even find well over a hundred items to collect.

Plants vs Zombies 2 Apparently Delayed, No New Release Date in Sight

Bad news:  Plants vs Zombies 2, originally slated for a July 18th release, will now be released later in the summer. 

Is there something wrong with Plants vs Zombies 2? I have no way of knowing that at this time, but I’ll be back with updates once they’re available. Meanwhile, you can always check out the available trailer for the upcoming game:

For what it’s worth, Pop Cap is also working on a Plants vs Zombies-based first-person shooter that’s called Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare and which will be released later this year for Xbox – most likely in fall when new Xbox One console is launched.
